Why Is This Blog Here? or Wait, People still Blog?

Well, besides the fact that "the internet needed another blog"......why not?   

This is a blog without a consistent theme or audience. It is based on ideas and things that interest me.

I have several roving and eclectic interests, including but not limited to:

• 90s Music
• Art/Poetry (largely sharing my own) 
• Comic Books 
• Confucius/Confucian Philosophy 
• San Antonio Spurs
• Philosophical and Theological Musings

In the past, this blog was more consistent and roughly topical. Now, I let loose with whatever nonsense I get interested in. Many of my posts are personal and introspective, and those posts may be of very limited value to a general audience (I suppose all my posts could be classified that way). Ultimately, this blog is a vanity project.

Who Am I?

I am a 40-something married father of three (C, E, and H). I teach at a community college deep in the heart of Texas. I love to travel, take naps, and eat good food when I get the chance.
